Optos Retinal imaging
The Optos Daytona generates a panoramic view if the back of the eye without the use of dilating drops.
OCT retinal Imaging
OCT retinal imaging takes a detailed image of the back of the eye (the macula and optic nerve). this instrument is extremely useful for diagnosis and monitoring of macular degeneration and glaucoma.
Visual field testing
Our office uses the Humphreys FDT field analyzer for screening and the Humphrey 840 i field analyzer for more detailed investigation. These instruments test the functioning of the visual pathway from the back of the eye to the occipital lobe at the back of the brain. This instrument is critical in diagnosis and monitoring of glaucoma and also helps detect damage to the visual pathway from intracranial insult due to stroke, tumor, etc.
In Office Edging Lab
Our office has an in office edging lab, allowing same day service on most single vision lenses. In addition, the edger allows us to edge lenses into your current frame, without having to send your frame away for an extended period.
