About the Practice

The Barrhead Optometry Clinic originated in 1992 and was purchased by Dr. Grant Balen in 1996.  Our office has had the fortune to service patients from Barrhead and surrounding communities such as Westlock, Mayerthorpe and Swan Hills. Our clinic strives to provide comprehensive eye examinations and quality optical products to our patients at an affordable price.
